Ritmo 3 Plays at Central Market

The Bus Stop Stallions play on the Central Market patio on Saturday, April 9th

If you’re hungry and in the mood for free live music, stop by Central Market on North Lamar on Thursdays, Fridays, or Saturdays. Though the events are especially family-friendly, this is an option for all ages. The market’s numerous meal choices, combined with its plentiful outdoor seating and scenic backyard, make it a quaint spot to spend a warm spring evening. Listeners can sit on the patio or even take a walk on the trails around the property and let the music follow them.

One concert to check out in particular is next Saturday, April 16th from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Central Market hosts Ritmo 3, a band described by this venue as having a “diverse array of latin dance genres with a focus on traditional Cuban styles such as Son, Bolero, Guajira, and Cha-Cha.” Ritmo 3 is an Austin band that frequently performs at local spots like Ruta Maya Café.

I’m definitely going to try to see Ritmo 3 next week. I’m always interested in hearing new local latin bands. Thanks for the post!

I like how low-key the central market setting sounds. I’ll have to come out on one of those lazy saturdays.
